I'd recommend checking out the feeds on a different computer just to see if it's the internet or the computer.

I wouldn't think it's anything to do with the ISP - It sounds like it's more an issue with your network configuration (either on the computer, or networking equipment).

hmm... So whats your advice? i watch hockey here for a couple of months and all works fine. i didnt change anything on network configuration...

    Endstand said:
Hey - Do you by any chance have another computer you can use to test? Maybe borrow a laptop from somebody just to see if its the computer or the internet connection. I'm assuming it's a setting with the mac or your router. Your traceroute looked fine so it *shouldn't* be an internet issue.

I tried another computer and everything worked just like it should. So I try to tweak my Mac and leave you guys alone
Another computer didnt make a difference after all it was something else. Tonight I tried everything on two different machines and the results were: tatadadaa I cant watch HQ stream 10 sec without buffering.
I give up. Obliviously the problem is in my connection because so many people doesnt seem to have any problems. Allthough I dont understand how come HS is the only site that I have these issues.

There were issues with routing from finland several days ago but I believe those are fixed now - I'll find out further.

I dont know what to think anymore. I tried couple things to get my streams work. Stream was as bad as it gets. On HQ all I got was first frame and complete stop after that. VLC player just said PTS out of rage. Then god knows why I decided to go with HD+ and now Im watching last nights Pens game without a problem.
I just hope it works when Bruins&Duck hit the ice

It strikes me that come the busy nights (like tonight) you don't really expect to have all these people online at once. Surely this is to be expected? I've had a quick look around the site and none of the games are working without almost unwatchable amounts of buffering.

Obviously if this was a free-to-view service then i'd take it without a thought, but we're paying a considerable amount of money for it and i really, REALLY hope nights like this don't happen too often. Clearly better servers are needed!

The second we saw resources filling up we deployed additional resources. You should have maybe noticed about 30 seconds in service interruption (if you did). Are you still having this issue?

    Poor picture quality!
I'm watching the Kings vs Wild game on archive, you have it down as HDplus. No way is this HD quality, the picture is very poor.
Why are you saying it is HDplus when it is clearly not?
