Problems with streams and buffering issues.
Hi, I have just signed up and i cant seem to be able to watch any of the games without it lagging, 30 or so seconds into opening them. I have looked through the forum and tried every possible thing. I've set the buffer to 30 sec and then to 60, this helped but it only delayed and lagging. My internet connection to amsterdam is 2.71mbps and to montreal 2.77mbps.
Is there anything that i could do to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

I'm having the same issues, also from Australia. Wonder if it's this crappy internet infrastructure we're stuck with here. Seems to be getting worse lately.
Last season I could watch games with very few issues. So far I can't get any games to play as anything except an audio slide show...nothing but a still image every 30 seconds no matter what i do.

Are you guys getting these same issues on the archives or just on the live streams?

yeah both. the archive games are a bit better as long as i play them through my ps3 and keep them on pause for a little while before i play them. The live ones are pretty bad. I went atdhe.net and played the penguins games and it played fine. so i dont think its my internet.
Thanks for the quick reply Billy.

    Hello,
Have you tried going to the stream help page and seeing if tweaking your settings helps? Are you guys by any chance connecting via wifi?

Sadly my speeds are the same as yours benny. I'm on bigpond cable, but I am connecting via my home wireless network.
I've messed with as many settings as I could. Tried maxing the buffer at 60 seconds but it ends up taking longer than that to buffer so it's pretty much just watch a minute, reload, watch a minute, reload, etc.
I haven't tried live games, just archives so far.

Not sure what to think now...ran a speed test from my work internet connection and the results are worse than at home (sub 1.0mbps in some cases) yet an archived game from Saturday plays perfectly.

It could be the router you use at home - try taking out the router and connecting straight through the modem and see if that helps.
