I just recently decided to try this for my PS3. I set up everything as specified. However, when I go to the media server and select the video. It goes to a black screen and says that the Data is corrupt. Has anyone else found a solution to this?

I have tried several different links with the same result.

Have you tried creating an IP exception?

    trouble getting this working
I'm having a hard time getting this up and running. I'm running an xbox360 (with the latest patches) and a computer with xp service pack 2 (IE: No media center software, only media player 11).

I setup the asx file, turn on media sharing, and add the asx to my library.

When I go to find it on my xbox, I can't actually go in to media center I can only browse to my videos, my music and my pictures. I can see the computer, but it says there's no videos to share. The closest thing I can find is in the playlists under music, I can see the stream file (but playing it doesn't work because there's no music files in the playlist i guess)

    What am I doing wrong?

You need media centre on your pc, for the xbox to link with it. Grab copy of media centre an it's real easy to set up just follow the instructions. The games look great on TV.

    Hi there!

A brand new premium HD member here

I managed to get the streams to work with my Xbox 360 but it seems like the streams are always only HQ streams. On my laptop the HDplus looks great but it looks like a HQ stream on my 42 inch tv when streaming through Xbox. Am I doing something wrong or is the Generate XBOX 360 Comptabile File not working correctly..? I understand that the picture quality is naturally better on small laptop screen than on a big tv screen

    Thanks!
